Healthcare Minister paid a visit to Karaganda region

ASTANA. July 21. KAZINFORM Kazakh Healthcare Minister Salidat Kairbekova visited Karaganda region to evaluate results of implementation of the Single National Healthcare System over the first six months of 2011.

The Minister held a meeting of the regional public council for the protection of patients' rights and met with the region's medical community, the Ministry's press service informs.

In Karaganda Salidat Kairbekova called on a number of clinics, a cardiac surgery centre, the Makazhanov traumatic surgery and orthopedics centre and the regional multi-field clinic.

The state-run healthcare development program of Kazakhstan "Salamatty Kazakhstan" for 2011-2015 approved by the Head of State last November becomes a pivotal stage in the dynamic development of the country's public health system. Introduction of the Single National Healthcare System reflects its basic objectives, tasks and trends of the state program.

Realization of the Single National Healthcare System principles will let achieve targets of the people's health set in the Strategic Plan of the Healthcare Ministry for 2011-2015.
