Heads of the SCO member-states sign Dushanbe Declaration
After the 14th meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO states, the Dushanbe Declaration was signed. The document was inked by the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Uzbekistan, Russia and Tajikistan. In addition, the Leaders - President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, Islam Karimov, Almazbek Atambayev and Emomali Rahmon have signed a number of decisions of the Board including a decision of the Council of Heads of SCO States on the draft strategy of the SCO development until 2025; a decision regarding the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the victory over the fascism during the World War II; the procedure for granting the status of a SCO member and a new draft version of requirements for application for the SCO membership; a decision on termination of the decisions made by the Council of Heads of States - members of the SCO; a decision approving the rules of markings of the SCO; a decision approving the report of the Secretary-General of the SCO on the work of the organization in the past year; a decision approving the report of the Council of the SCO Regional Antiterrorist Structure and activities of the RATS in 2013.
