Heads of CSTO parliamentary delegations to OSCE PA meet in Moscow
The Kazakh side is represented by Chairman of the Senate Committee on Socio-Cultural Development, Chairman of the CSTO PA Standing Committee for Political Issues and International Cooperation Akhan Bizhanov.
The parliamentarians will coordinate joint positions for the coming February and July sessions of the OSCE PA and discuss draft resolutions that were worked out by the Parliaments of the CSTO member states. These are the Resolution on Inadmissibility of Certain Practices Which Contribute to Fuelling Contemporary Forms of Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance, the Resolution on the responsibility of the OSCE member states in provision of global energy security and others.
Opening the session the State Duma First Vice-Speaker Lyubov Sliska noted good results of deepening of cooperation of the Parliaments of the CSTO member states and modernization of the mechanisms of coordination of efforts in the international organizations.
