Head of State received Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan

The Prosecutor General reported on the legal situation in the country following the results of the 1H of 2013 and the President's instructions' execution.

Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the necessity to accelerate efforts on country's criminal situation improvement and law enforcement bodies' intensification.

Askhat Daulbayev also told about reduction in latent criminality over the first half of 2013. In addition, Mr. Daulbayev added that the registration of all criminal cases allowed to observe a real situation and exposed the problem areas.

Besides, the Prosecutor General briefed on the situation concerning te labor rights' protection, the rights of orphans, the work against organized crime, religious extremism and terrorism on the investigation of actual criminal corruption-related cases and embezzlement of budget funds.

Following the meeting, the Head of State charged to continue work on providing law and order and to strengthen the work on protection of human rights, as well as rights of small and medium business representatives, interests of the state and society.
