Head of State put capsule into foundation of new Opera and Ballet House in Astana

ASTANA. April 1. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Kazakh Head of the State N.Nazarbayev has put the capsule into the foundation of the new Opera and Ballet Theatre in Astana today.
The project was developed by an affiliate of Swiss company "IT Engineering S.A" and represents a building in classical architectural style. The square of the building will be 37.7 thousand sq m.
"The construction of the facility is planned to be accomplished by the 20th anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan. This beautiful theatre is designed for 1 200 sits and will be one of the unique places in the world", N.Nazarbayev said.
