Head of State: Peace and concord in Kazakhstan - our contribution to strengthening regional and global security

"We watch the crisis of confidence and tolerance in the modern world. Hence chairing the OSCE this year Kazakhstan actively promotes ideas of interethnic and interfaith tolerance", the President emphasized.

The Head of the State noted that this year the Kazakh model of tolerance and concord was presented at large forums in Copenhagen, Geneva, New York. Astana held the conference on tolerance and nondiscrimination.

The Kazakh President reminded that UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon recognized the principles of activity of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan relevant to the UN principles.

"When we say that the country's major achievement is peace and concord - it is not just banal truth. It is a serious success in the current unstable world", N.Nazarbayev emphasized.
