Head of State launched «Three Sevens» initiative to accelerate Kazakhstan's innovative development

ASTANA. May 22. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has put forward the initiative of Three Sevens in his final speech at the 26th Foreign Investors Council session held in Astana.

"Dear investors! Kazakhstan will give a particular priority for those who root the innovations. I urge you to help our business, education and science to regroup, set them on innovation.This will allow you to increase the effectiveness of your own production, and then local content will be completely different, innovative. For the practical implementation of these approaches I suggest putting the general problem. I would call it an initiative of the "Three Sevens", which can be implemented in a common effort for the year ", Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

According to the President, first of all, it is necessary to bring 7 world-renowned scientists in Kazakhstan; secondly, to provide 7 companies of Kazakhstan for high-tech orders; third, support the creation of seven innovative start-ups.

The President instructed the Association of Foreign Investors' Council to ensure the implementation of this initiative through the working group of the Council, together with the Government to ensure that next year they can take stock.
