Head of State congratulates people of Turkmenistan on the forthcoming Day of Neutrality

During a bilateral meeting in the extended format in the framework of his official visit to Turkmenistan Nursultan Nazarbayev have congratulated "the brotherly people of Turkmenistan on the upcoming Day of Neutrality" and wished them well-being and prosperity. It should be noted that Turkmenistan marks one of its main national holidays - Day of Neutrality on December 12. The resolution "Permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan" was adopted on December 12, 1995 at the fiftieth Anniversary Session of UN General Assembly. At present, Turkmenistan established diplomatic relations with 129 countries. It is a member of more than 100 authoritative international organizations. Neutrality Day is celebrated country-wide by concerts and exhibitions devoted to this significant date.
