Head of State awards military ranks

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today, on the eve of the Day of Defender of the Fatherland, Head of State has conferred the highest military and special ranks to officers of law enforcement and security agencies.
"Today, on the eve of two holidays: the Day of Defender of the Fatherland which is celebrated on 7 May and the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, I have signed a decree on awarding supreme military ranks and honorable shoulder straps," N. Nazarbayev said. Nursultan Nazarbayev added that it is a great honor to serve the motherland. It bears to remind that today President has signed a decree awarding the highest military, special and class ranks to officers of law enforcement and security agencies.
