Head of State attends Qazaqstan Barysy Grand Slam international judo tournament

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended the Qazaqstan Barysy Grand Slam 2026, an international ranking judo tournament, Qazinform News Agency reports, citing the Akorda press service.
Seated alongside the Head of State was Marius Vizer, President of the International Judo Federation (IJF).
The competition features around 300 top athletes from 36 countries.
Among them are the world's leading judokas – medalists and winners of the Olympic Games, World Championships, and continental championships.
It is worth noting that 53 athletes are representing Kazakhstan at the tournament.
