Head of Religious Affairs Agency congratulates Kazakhstan on Eid Al-Fitr

ASTANA. August 8. KAZINFORM Kairat Lama Sharif, the Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Religious Affairs, has congratulated all Muslims of Kazakhstan on holiday of Eid al-Fitr today, the Agency's press service said.
According to the head of the Agency, during this ancient holiday the Muslims draw upon the roots of Islam and are united by common moral values and humanist ideals.
"In his state-of-the-nation address "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy, President Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed 'we are a part of the Muslim Ummah. These are our traditions. We need to form our religious consciousness conforming with the traditions and cultural norms of the country. Let Allah accept all the prayers and good acts of the Muslims for the sake of prosperity of our home - Kazakhstan," K. Sharif said.
