Head of Kazcosmos met with reps of French Embassy in Kazakhstan

KAZINFORM /Sara Kabikyzy/ A meeting of Chairman of the Kazakh National Space Agency Talgat Musabayev with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Kazakhstan Jean-Charles Berthonnet and Military Attache, Colonel Jean-Marc Babut was held in Astana, the press service of the Agency reports.

The process of realization of projects on establishment of Remote Sensing of the Earth from Space and Spacecrafts Assembly and Tests Complex within the contract between "National Company "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary" JSC and "EADS Astrium" was discussed.

The sides complimented the fact that Kazakhstan and France became strategic partners in the space field signing two intergovernmental agreements on establishment of high-tech space production in our country.

The main goal of the partnership of two countries today is provision of effective realization of the signed Agreements and contract.

The French Ambassador said that he will control over the implementation of joint space projects. The French side guarantees discharge of its obligations within the signed strategic documents.
