Having held OSCE Summit Kazakhstan became bridge between East and West: Pakistani Ambassador
U. Mukhamedzhanov expressed condolences over destructions and misery caused by floods in the country and two terrorist attacks in Peshawar in summer this year. The Speaker noted that upcoming Kazakhstan's OIC chairmanship will create favorable conditions for development of cooperation between the two states. He also expressed hope that Pakistan would take part in the meeting of Foreign Ministers and the Islamic Economic Conference within the OIC scheduled for 2011 in Kazakhstan.
Special attention was paid to Afghanistan. The sides noted that Kazakhstan was able to attract world attention to this country. The interlocutors also noted that in order to struggle the international terrorism successfully the countries should deepen cooperation, including the Interparliamentary contacts.
The Pakistani ambassador invited U. Mukhamedzhanov to pay a visit to Pakistan.
