Hamburg hosted 6th session of Kazakh-German Intergvtl Group on Commercial and Economic Coop

HAMBURG. June 27. KAZINFORM The 6th session of the Kazakh-German Intergovernmental Working Group on Commercial and Economic Cooperation chaired by Kazakh First Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Albert Rau and German Vice Minister of Economic Affairs and Technology Karl-Ernst Brauner was held on June 25-26 in Hamburg.

More than 150 representatives of sectorial ministries and authorities, leading companies and banks and the representatives of small and medium business of Kazakhstan and Germany participated in the session.

Perspectives of bilateral development in innovative, investment and financial spheres, further enlarging of contractual basis, interaction in the information technologies, education and science, culture, healthcare and tourism were discussed at the meeting.

According to K. Brauner, Kazakhstan for Germany is important trade economic partner in Central Asia, and countries will be in great effort to develop bilateral cooperation.

In turn, A. Rau stressed practical trend of the session, results of which confirm the implementation of the tasks outlined by leaders of the two countries at the Berlin meeting in February this year.

The Kazakh delegation got familiarized with the ChemCoast Park Brunsbüttel, "Airbus" air plant and participated in business session where came into direct contacts and made a range of commercial contracts with German businessmen.
