Halyk Kaharmany B. Yertayev congratulates Kazakhstanis on Fatherland Defender's Day and Victory Day

Speaking at the ceremony of laying flowers to the Monument to Afghanistan's Fallen Soldiers in Astana he said that our people should be proud that representatives of more than a hundred nationalities live in peace and harmony in Kazakhstan.

"Our homeland is Kazakhstan, which chose the path of democratic development. In fact, this path was paved long ago by our ancestors - great batyrs Kabanbai, Nauryzbai, Raiymbek, Bogenbai and their successors Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, Talgat Bigeldinov, Aliya Moldagulova, Manshuk Mametova and all those heroes who defended our country," Yertayev said.

"Let me congratulate all Kazakhstanis on the holidays of the Day of Defender of the Fatherland and Victory Day. I wish you peace. I wish that we have the same clear blue sky and the shining sun as depicted on our flag, and the wings of an eagle - our Kazakhstan - to be strong forever. I wish you health and happiness," he resumed.
