Gross agricultural output in 2010 made 88.3% - Ministry of Agriculture

ASTANA. January 20. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Kazakhstan's gross agricultural output in 2010 made 88.3% in 2010. Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev has told at the sitting of the Ministry's board today.
According to him, the sector experiences decrease in production because of decline in crop industry. Alongside, the processing sphere reached 13% growth.
"By the assessment of the experts of the Global Economic Forum Kazakhstan ranks 62nd in "Expenditures for agricultural policy " category having improved its position by 31 points compared to the previous report", the Minister added.
