Green economy transition to demand about USD 3 bln

ASTANA. June 25. KAZINFORM "About USD three billion of state investment will be needed for transition to "green economy" after 2015 ," Vice Minister of Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan Bektas Mukhamedzhanov announced in the interview to mass media.
"We suppose, a significant part of the investments will be private," Mukhamedzhanov added.
According to him, today's priority is creation of necessary conditions for private investors. In this context, the Parliament of Kazakhstan adopted amendments to legislation on renewable energy resources, which provides favorable conditions for private investors.
This is a fixed rate for 15 years, establishment of special settlement center. Now energy producers, involved into green economy transition, will have no problems with electric energy realization.
