Grain pool of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan to be discussed in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG. June 6. KAZINFORM /Arnur Rakhymbekov/ The World Grain Forum has been opened today in St. Petersburg. Representatives of the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture take part in the Forum.

The Forum was organized by the Russian Government together with the Russian Grain Union. Heads of a range of states, Ministers of Agriculture of the G8 member countries, heads of leading international organizations, national and transnational grain companies, financial and banking structures are expected to take part in it. The Kazakh delegation will be headed by Vice Minister of Agriculture Arman Yevniyev, who will report on ?Kazakhstan and its role at the world grain market?. Director of the Department on external economic activity ?Food Contact Corporation? Daulet Yvashev will participate in the Forum as well. One of the sessions of the Forum will be devoted to the discussion of the Grain pool of the Black Sea and Caspian Sea regions, primarily Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Experts believe that the countries, entered the pool will address issues of establishment of infrastructure sharing and follow common policy at the grain market.
