Grain harvest - 37.8 % complete in southern and western region of Kazakhstan

TANA. August 5. KAZINFORM Grain harvest is 37.8 % complete in southern and western regions of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan informs. Kazinform refers to PM's official site.
'As of August 5, the agricultural producers completed harvesting campaign 37.8 % which equals 530.3 thousand ha. It resulted in 819.2 tons of grain harvested so far. The average crop yield made 15.4 centners per ha,' the press service of the Ministry informs.
In accordance with the information of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, the harvesting campaign has started in Almaty, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, West Kazakhstan and South Kazakhstan regions.
