Grain crops planned to be sown on 3.3 mln ha in North Kazakhstan region

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - Grain crops are planned to sown on the territory of 3.3 mln hectares in North Kazakhstan region, head of the department of agriculture of North Kazakhstan region Baglan Mautov told.
"We plan to sow 4.4 mln ha with crops this year, grain crops on 3.3 mln ha, oil-bearing crops on 580 thousand ha and fodder crops on 450 thousand ha. The preparation work is complete. The seeds are ready. The sowing campaign will begin on May 14," he said.
