Graduates of Kazakh universities to assist German parliamentarians

The interviews with promising candidates will be conducted by the reps of the German parliament in Astana and Almaty. Five people who have not turned 30, with higher education diplomas, proficient in German and possessing good knowledge of parliamentary systems of Germany and Kazakhstan are to receive the grants.
"The conditions of the program are pretty tough, as right after their arrival to German the grant holders are to proceed to work at the office of one of the deputies of the German Bundestag," Ms. Enkelmann explained.
The six-month program in Germany also involves lectures at one of universities in Berlin. In addition, the grant recipients will travel to Brussels in order to familiarize with the work of the European Parliament.
"The participants of the program will be the full-fledge members of the team. They will work closely with the German parliamentarians for six months," she added.
According to Dagmar Enkelmann, the program will bring together 120 young people from 25 countries of the world.
