Governor of East Kazakhstan region reports to President Nazarbayev

ASTANA. October 10. KAZINFORM Governor of the East Kazakhstan region Berdybek Saparbayev has reported on the implementation of the tasks outlined in the Kazakhstan-2050 Development Strategy in his region to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in a letter, the Akorda's press service reports.
He paid utmost attention to the modernization of agricultural sector in his message.
In the letter, Mr. Saparbayev especially emphasized the success of the region in terms of export of agricultural products that soared from KZT 2.6 billion in 2012 to KZT 4.7 billion in 2013.
The governor also reassured the Head of State the region will bend every effort to speed up the development of the agro-industrial complex of the country.
