Government to work for mining and metallurgical industry competiveness

ASTANA. July 4. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov promised that the Government will work for competitive strength of the country's mining and metallurgical industry.
"We perceive that new investments into the mining and metallurgical sector are high-risk, capital-intensive and long-term measure, but we have to work for raising the sector's competitive ability. I am confident the forum is a good platform for a dialogue and elaboration of proposals to deal with the problems of the sector, Massimov told addressing the II international mining and metallurgical congress."
