Government to launch new business support program Apr 15

ASTANA. April 6. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Business support program Productivity-2020 will be launched on April 15, 2011, Vice Prime Minister-Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev has informed of it at MINEX Central Asia-2011 forum in Astana today.

"Since April 15, 2011 we will launch a new program of business support called Productivity-2020. The program provides for a new package of mechanisms aimed at maintaining business, namely, innovation grants, compensation for expenses caused by attraction of highly-qualified foreign engineers and technical experts, for purchase of licenses, technical documentation, technologies and long-term leasing of industrial equipment", A. Issekeshev said.

According to him, KZT 20 bln will be allocated for the program's implementation. "This program is a final one in a package of the existing programs like Business Road Map 2020, the Program of Exporters Support, the Program of Investors Attraction and the Program of Enterprises' Recovery. In whole, the Government is ready to provide about 100 tools of business support to date", the Vice PM concluded.
