Government to introduce in Parliament revised budget for 2014

"State budget revenues for 2014 determined in the amount of KZT 6 trillion 206 billion, or KZT 432.4 billion more than was approved earlier (KZT 5 trillion 773 billion)", said the Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev. So, he said, budget revenues (without transfers) were revised up to KZT 331.7 billion increase from the approved plan of 4 trillion 29 billion and amount to KZT 4 trillion 361 billion.

In addition, with the purpose of strengthening fiscal sustainability of public finance and further reduction of the burden of government debt service it is proposed to reduce the budget deficit financed by loans, by KZT 40 billion.

In turn, Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov noted that the Government would introduce the revised budget for 2014 in Parliament on the next day.
