Government pays tribute to Arkankergen border guards

ASTANA. June 5. KAZINFORM Today the Government of Kazakhstan has held a moment of silence to pay the tribute to the memory of the border guards who died at the Arkankergen border outpost in Almaty region.
The burnt out building of the Arkankergen border outpost with the remains of 14 border guards and one huntsman was discovered on the 30th of May 2012.
The act of terror occurred on the night of 27-28th of May, 220 km away from the Usharal town of Almaty region.
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev declared the 5th of June the day of national mourning in connection with the tragedy.
