Government allocated 11 thousand additional grants for students: S.Irsaliyev

ASTANA. August 5. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "The Government allocated 11 thousand additional grants to support students in the crisis this year", Director of the Department of development strategy of the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science Serik Irsaliyev said.
"Ten thousand grants have been already awarded upon the results of the mid-term exams. It means that ten thousand excellent and senior students are freed from fee and will receive scholarships. It is an essential support for students", he said.
Besides, S.Irsaliyev noted that there exist two thousand more grants that will be awarded by competition.
