Golovkin among world's top 3 boxers

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - World boxing champion Gennady Golovkin from Kazakhstan is now ranked among the three best boxers of the world regardless of the weight categories, Vesti.kz informs.
The independent P4P ranking by Boxrec.com was updated after the bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao where F. Mayweather scored a victory by unanimous decision.
Thus, Mayweather who registered his 48 th victory (no losses) confidently occupies the first place. Pacquiao who had his 6 th loss dropped from the third place to the seventh.
The loss of the Filipino boxer allowed Gennady Golovkin to take the third spot in the ranking. Ukrainian Vladimir Klichko is second.
