Global economic crisis proved there is no alternative for integration - Nazarbayev

"We are neighbor countries. Our ancestors lived here. The major objective of the leaders lies in passing the feeling of unity, friendship, cultural, emotional and traditional unification to our descendants. I am confident, our nations will benefit from this", the Kazakh President said.

As N. Nazarbayev noted, "in order to overcome the economic crisis we must work on our commodity turnover, transport corridors, joint enterprises and the funds the Russian companies invest in Kazakhstan"

Touching upon joint usage of Baikonur space site the Kazakh Leader said "Baikonur can work and be useful for us provided that both Russia and Kazakhstan use it".

"There are also many other issues of cooperation - in nuclear technologies, atomic industry. All of them are quite promising directions", N. Nazarbayev pointed out.
