Girl, 9, dies after spending summer holidays at Burabai children's camp

KOKSHETAU. KAZINFORM - A girl died in the Akmola region after spending a couple of weeks at a summer camp, something she had been looking forward to all year, Kazinform correspondent Aslan Ospanov reports.
The nine-year-old girl was spending her summer holidays at one of the children's summer camps on Lake Katarkol in Burabaisky district. At the camp, the child contacted acute enteric infection and was rushed to a local hospital. The infection escalated and the girl was eventually admitted to a regional hospital. The personnel of the hospital were fighting for her life, but the girl died a couple of days later.
