German Petkovic outshines Zarina Diyas in Doha

ASTANA-DOHA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani tennis player Zarina Diyas has left the WTA's Qatar Total Open 2015 empty-handed, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
In the second-round match the 21-year-old Diyas was defeated by Andrea Petkovic in three sets 7:5, 2:6, 4:6. Thus, the German athlete has established a 2:1 head-to-head lead over Diyas. The two met in Dubai last week where the Kazakhstani tennis player was stronger than Petkovic 7:5, 6:3. The German will face Czech Lucie Safarova in next round.
