German direct investments to Kazakhstan to increase if necessary conditions are created: German Diplomat

ATY. May 17. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilinskaya/ "Germany and Kazakhstan are interested in the further activation of bilateral relations that will be strengthened due to the existing potential", Deputy Consul General of Germany in Almaty Jorgan Pommer has said today at the press conference devoted to the "xDrive Tour 2010" road show held within the Year of Germany in our country.
According to him, the customs and financial structures are of special importance for development of economic relationships. "There are many big German companies working in Kazakhstan. These are companies working in the field of construction, infrastructure, agriculture and information technologies", he said.
According to the last data, Germany is on the seventh position among the economic partners of Kazakhstan and on the ninth place on the investments to our country. "But Germany can take more advanced positions. Corresponding framework conditions are necessary for it. If they are created the flow of German investments to Kazakhstan will increase", J.Pommer said.
