German authority detectes first human spreading of E. coli

BERLIN. June 18. KAZINFORM The consumer protection ministry of the German state of Hessen said on Friday it has detected for the first time that people can spread the deadly E. coli to other people.
According to Xinhua, a woman working in a kictchen of a catering company, who was infected by E. coli from sprouts, spread the disease to another 20 people, said Harald Kehlborn, a spokesman for the consumer protection ministry of Hessen.
