GDP growth predicted at level of 6-7% in January-March this year: Agency on Statistics

ASTANA. April 13. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Chairman of the Kazakh Statistics Agency Alikhan Smailov predicts the GDP growth up to 6-7% in January-March this year.
"The GDP is likely to be at the level of 6-7%", A.Smailov said. The forecast is based on the indexes of the Short-Term Economic Indicator of January - March, 2010 compared to the corresponding period of the last year that was up to 108.3%.
A.Smailov noted that the exact calculation of the GDP will be made in May this year.
