Gazprom CEO, Kazakh Ambassador to Russia met

ASTANA. January 18. KAZINFORM Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller and Kazakh Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia Zautbek Turisbekov have held a working meeting; the company reports.
The sides considered the issues of expansion of the Russian-Kazakh cooperation in the field of geologic exploration, extraction, transportation, processing and distribution of hydrocarbons.
It was noted that the volume of gas realized in Kazakhstan in 2011 increased by 10 percent against 2010, and there are good opportunities for the growth in the supplies.
There was expressed a common opinion that the Single Economic Space opens new opportunities for more large-scale development of energy partnership of all participants and meets strategic interests of the parties.
