Gazprom and KazMunaiGas set to broaden coop within SES

ASTANA. February 18. KAZINFORM Today Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund JSC, KazRosGas CEO Kairat Boranbayev held a working meeting in Astana, the press service of the Russian oil company said.
The parties focused on new opportunities opened as a result of the establishment of the Single Economic Space of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, expansion of cooperation. The sides highlighted issues of strategic cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia, energy partnership that holds special place in strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
According to the press service, as preliminary data indicates, Gazprom Group sold 3.7 bln cu m of natural gas in Kazakhstan in 2011 that is 10% more against 2010.
