Gas leak kills woman, sends her kids to hospital in S Kazakhstan

SHYMKENT. KAZINFORM - A gas leak killed a woman and sent her two children to a hospital in Tyulkubasskiy district in South Kazakhstan region.
The 26-year-old woman, her 5-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter got carbon monoxide poisoning at home on November 25. The mother was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics rushed the children who were still alive to the central hospital. The regional emergencies department reports that this is not the first lethal case caused by a gas leak. Two people died and five suffered CO poisoning in the region earlier this month.
