Gas and coal mining increased in Kazakhstan in first six months

ASTANA. September 11. KAZINFORM Mining of coal, gas and nonferrous metals increased in January-August 2012 as compared to the analogous period of the previous year.
Industrial products volume index made 100.7%, the Kazakh Statistics Agency said.
Growth of output in food and beverage manufacturing, light and chemical industries, engineering and oil processing is seen in 9 regions of Kazakhstan. Akmola, Atyrau, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kostanay, Mangystau regions and Astana city observed loss of production.
