Garbage recycling plant produces construction materials in Mangystau rgn

AKTAU. KAZINFORM - Zhanaozen recycling plant started the production of construction materials including paving blocks, tiles, and curbs.
The construction of the plant amounted to 1.2 billion tenge. The plant opened six months ago but started operation in September. It processes up to 15 tons of garbage per day. Paper, plastic, rubber, plastic bags are sorted manually. Cardboard and paper are pressed; plastic, plastic bags and oilcloth are crushed into small pellets. The equipment has been purchased in Belarus and Russia. The plant operates 24/7. It employs 70 local people.
