G. Golovkin loses 'Fighter of the Year' title

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani professional boxer Gennady Golovkin lost the Fighter of the Year title to Terence Crawford by the BWAA.
Former WBO lightweight champion Terence Crawford won the "Fighter of the Year" title after having three successful fights in 2014, Khabar.kz informs.
Among candidatures for the title, there were Kazakhstani Gennady Golovkin, who also won three times in 2014, Russian Sergei Kovalyov, Filipino Manny Pacquiao and Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto.
