G-8 youth summit opens in Paris

High on the agenda of the G-8 youth summit is the global approach to multilateral and stable peace. Along with delegations from eight leading world powers that will discuss the issues of foreign policy and defence representatives from the G-20 countries are participating in the summit. High on the agenda of the forum for representatives of the G-20 countries will be the problems of economy, finances, global management and environmental protection.

The current G-8 youth summit was arranged by the Youth Diplomacy organization and is held under the aegis of French President Nicolas Sarkozy. During a week-long summit young people from all over the world will have heated debates on the most topical modern problems, offering the ways to solve them. Upon the forum results the summiteers will make their conclusions and will issue a communiqu·, which will be passed in the presidential administration of France, which is currently presiding in the G-8 and the G-20.
