Funeral of Polish president, first lady to be held on Sunday

"The memorial service is planned for Saturday and it follows that the burial of the presidential couple will take place on Sunday," Deputy Chief of the Chancellery of the President of Poland Jacek Sasin told a Polish radio station.

The bodies of Kaczynski and his wife will lie in state until Saturday in the Polish capital of Warsaw before the service so everyone will have the chance to pay last respects to the presidential couple.

Leaders of different countries will attend the funeral of late President Kaczynski and his wife.

The late Polish president and first lady died alongside 94 other people in a plane crash in west Russia on Saturday morning.
