French President's Special Envoy Emery de Montesquieu to visit Astana Jan 17-18

ASTANA. January 14. KAZINFORM Special Envoy of the French President, Senator Emery de Montesquieu is to visit Astana on January 17-18, a press release of KAZENERGY Association reads.

The Special Envoy of the President of France is expected to meet with Prime Minister Karim Massimov, Vice Premiers Asset Issekeshev and Yerbol Orynbayev, Mayor of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov, Minister of Oil and Gas Sauat Mynbayev, Minister of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov and Minister of Environmental Protection Nurgali Ashimov.

The French Senator will also meet with the top managers of SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund, KazMunayGas National Company JSC and will visit the Nazarbayev University.

Emery de Montesquieu is heading a big delegation consisting of the representatives of Total, CDF, Suez, EDF, Schneider Electric Veolia, Technio, the French Institute of Petroleum, the Pierre and Marie Curie University, the National Management School and the Graduate Business School.

The goal of the visit is creation of conditions for transfer of technologies to Kazakhstan.

As is known, the project concerning the 'Technological park' was discussed within the Kazakh President's visit to Paris in October 2010.
