French experts want to create technology park on basis of Nazarbayev University

An excursion to the Kazakh-French educational center was organized for the honorary guest. The center was opened in December last year as part of the agreement signed by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and President of France Nicolas Sarkozy. The Kazakh-French center is equipped with advanced technologies in the field of energy production, electrical engineering and automated control systems for training of highly skilled specialists who meet international standards.
According to the Senator, his visits to the Central Asian states is to deepen cooperation between the countries of the region, and, first of all, with Kazakhstan. "Within your President's program "Path to Europe", I support efforts of those French enterprises which want to sign contracts with your country", he said.
He outlined that the Kazakh-French center under the Kazakh National Technical University named after K.Satpayev is a fruitful example of cooperation established between the governments of France, Kazakhstan and Schneider Electric Company. "We would like to create such centers in other cities of Kazakhstan", he stated.
As Rector of Kazakh National Technical University Zheksenbek Adilov noted, the university closely cooperates with the Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace (ISAE) of Toulouse and National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine based in Nancy. The Kazakh-French geo-energy power center will open its door soon.
