French Ambassador gave lecture to Kazakhstani students

ASTANA. May 16. KAZINFORM /Zhanna Korkitova/ Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Kazakhstan Jean-Charles Berthonnet has given a lecture to students of the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University today.
The diplomat noted that friendship between Kazakhstan and France had many years of history. The agreements and memorandums on cooperation have been signed. The cooperation in the sphere of economy, politics and education has only been strengthening over recent years.
'Kazakhstan gained independence 20 years ago. It is a short term regarding development of a country but Kazakhstan can be considered as an example by many countries. It is the reason many should learn from Kazakhstan,' the Ambassador of France to Kazakhstan said.
The his lecture, the Ambassador touched upon a wide range of issues - from politics and economy to culture.
