France ready to support new EU-Kazakhstan agreement on advanced partnership - Sarkozy

ASTANA. April 4. KAZINFORM Nursultan Nazarbayev has received a telegram of congratulations on his re-election as President of Kazakhstan from President of France Nicolas Sarkozy; the presidential press service told Kazinform.

'This year France chairs the Group of 20, and I wish the position of Kazakhstan on the important issues that we will discuss, to be taken into account. In particular, these are the issues of international financial and monetary system as well as raw materials market. France is also ready to support a new agreement on advanced partnership between Kazakhstan and the European Union,' the telegram reads.

'I attach great importance to the development of our bilateral relations under the agreement on strategic partnership, which unites our two countries. All important projects under implementation or discussion are united by one common element - to promote the implementation of your ambitious program on industrialization and innovation,' Nicolas Sarkozy noted in his telegram.
