The mayor of Mamoudzou, Ambedilwahedou Soumaila, spoke of nine people hospitalized in critical condition in the hospital in the capital of Mayotte and 9 others treated for less serious injuries.

“Many” of us “have lost everything,” he said Francois Xavier Bieuville, prefect of Mayotte, reported by “Bfm”. The resigning Interior Minister, Bruno Retailleau, said last night that he feared the death toll was “higher,” but did not provide further information. Wind gusts of more than 200 kilometers per hour were reported.

Earlier it was revealed that Francois Bayrou has been chosen as the new Prime Minister of France.
