France condemns attack targeting British ambassador in Yemen

PARIS. April 26. KAZINFORM France condemns the bombing targeting a British ambassador and his convoy on Monday in Yemen, the foreign ministry said in a statement, Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
"France condemns the attack in the strongest terms," the ministry said, calling on "the international community to unite against the scourge."
It underlined France's solidarity with the Yemeni governement, and urged international response to this kind of terrorist attacks.
The British ambassador to Yemen survived on Monday a suicide bomb attack targeting his convoy in Sanaa. Yemeni Interior Ministry said al-Qaida was suspected of being behind the attack.
Al-Qaida has not issued any statement to claim responsibility for the attack. The British embassy was shut down after the attack, Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
