The third day of the tournament brings the first full schedule of games, with fixtures taking place in the United States and Canada. Groups B and D will each play one of their opening matches, while all four teams in Group C are set to begin their campaigns.

In Group B, Qatar will face Switzerland at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The match is scheduled for 3:00 PM ET and will be broadcast on Fox.

Both teams enter the tournament in a group seen as competitive and difficult to predict. Switzerland has a long record of being a disciplined and difficult opponent in major tournaments, while Qatar will look to make its presence felt against a European side known for its organization.

One of the day’s main fixtures will follow in Group C, where Brazil meets Morocco at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The match is set for 6:00 PM ET on FS1.

Brazil arrives with major expectations and a squad known for its attacking quality. Morocco, meanwhile, will look to build on its strong 2022 World Cup campaign, when it reached the latter stages of the tournament and gained attention for its defensive structure and disciplined approach.

Later in Group C, Haiti will play Scotland at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The game is scheduled for 9:00 PM ET on FS1.

The fixture may not carry the same profile as Brazil vs Morocco, but it is expected to draw interest because of the support behind both teams. Haiti and Scotland will each be looking for a strong start in a group where early points could prove important.

The final match of the day will take place in Group D, as Australia faces Türkiye at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:59 PM ET on FS1.

Australia has often been a difficult opponent at World Cups, while Türkiye enters the tournament with a number of promising young players. With Group D expected to be closely contested, both teams will be aiming to avoid an early setback in their opening match.

Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that Several stadiums hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup are using temporary names during the tournament as FIFA applies its clean stadium policy, which limits non-sponsor branding at venues.
