Foreign leaders congratulate President of Kazakhstan on Republic Day

Foreign leaders and heads of international organizations are sending letters of congratulation to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of Kazakhstan’s Republic Day, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.

In his telegram, President of Russia Vladimir Putin notes that the Russian-Kazakh relations develop successfully in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance, while Moscow and Astana enjoy active interaction within multilateral structures.

“I am confident that through joint efforts we will ensure further expansion of the entire range of bilateral relations – for the benefit of our peoples, in the interests of strengthening security and stability in the Eurasian space,” Vladimir Putin points out.

President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping emphasizes the increased authority of Kazakhstan at the regional and international arena, and, on behalf of the Chinese people, he expresses support for the achievements of Kazakhstan as a friendly neighbor and comprehensive strategic partner.

"I express my readiness to join our efforts to further deepen mutually beneficial partnership and to raise the cooperation to a brand new level," Xi Jinping wrote.

A telegram from the President of the United States, Joe Biden, reads that the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States is based on such principles of the UN, as independence and territorial integrity.

Joe Biden expressed interest in continuing cooperation with Kazakhstan, which “firmly adheres to these principles in addressing security, economic and environmental issues.”

French President Emmanuel Macron notes in his congratulatory message that both countries are linked by strong multilateral cooperation.

“I am confident that our countries will be able to deepen the contacts within various structures and expand the horizons of partnership,” reads the telegram.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed confidence in further deepening of the cooperation between the two fraternal nations, based on common language, history and culture.

"We highly appreciate Kazakhstan's special attention to the consolidation of the Turkic world, as well as its leading role in strengthening the authority of the Organization of Turkic States," he wrote.

In his congratulatory message, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that Kazakhstan is implementing fundamental changes, comprehensive and systemic reforms in all areas of governmental and social life. The leader of Uzbekistan also noted the country's increased authority and influence in the international arena.

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov noted that since gaining independence, fraternal Kazakhstan has achieved significant progress in state building, in political and socio-economic development, as well as in foreign policy. He also expressed confidence in further development of cooperation between the two countries.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, in his telegram, expressed readiness to further exert every effort to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation based on the principles of strategic partnership and alliance.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that thanks to an open and friendly dialogue at a high level, the Turkmen-Kazakh relations have intensified in many areas.

Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, also extended his warm wishes.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev confirmed his interest in developing the fruitful partnership and implementing joint projects with Kazakhstan in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
